Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

MERRY CHRISTMAS and
A HAPPY NEW YEAR 2017

FROHE WEIHNACHTEN und
EIN GLÜCKLICHES NEUES JAHR 2017

LITTLE CHRISTMAS STORY
KLEINE WEIHNACHTSGESCHICHTE

The people who live in harmony with nature show appreciation and a good mood !

Die Menschen, die im Einklang mit der Natur leben, zeigen einander Anerkennung und gute Laune!

They give greetings and thanksgiving to the things that help them to live, and for the same reasons they greet one another.

Sie schenken den Dingen, die ihnen zum Leben helfen, Grüsse und Danksagungen, und aus den gleichen Gründen grüssen sie einander.

The people who live in this way celebrate life because they are happy!

unserer Macht steht.
von John Bonnell

If the experts consider Manuella Marioni's work - neoexpressionist - ,
the artist doesn't cantonne herself in a movement, always favoring her
freedom to create.

Mystik

ATIM's TOP 60 MASTERS OF CONTEMPORARY ART

Award-winning Swiss artist

has passionately and masterfully created an intensely reflective body of work that brims with tension-laden compositions and powerfully interacts with audiences, extending the promise of a vivid, rich sensory experience that is simultaneously analytic and appreciative. Her critically acclaimed evocative body of work, poised between symbolic, figurative, and abstract, consists of two-dimensional pieces, including neo-expressionist, color-rich acrylic and oil paintings, digital art, and photographs, as well as three-dimensional works of art. Her signature mirror sculpture, bring her unique artistic vision to life through specific perception effects, as viewers open their own analytic gifts to self-analysis and personal interpretation.
Celebrating the creation of contradictions between nature/evanescent moments and imminent universals, while glorifying the harmonious union of man and nature, the visionary artist captures the conceptual and expressive synthesis of human nature. She offers a human image for recognition, while allowing viewers to express their often conflicting desires for the intimation of a vitally imagined meaning and the connoisseurship of an artistic feat.

Marioni spent more than seven years collaborating with the Niki de Saint Phalle Foundation, an intense, formative period in her artistic career. The late French feminist artist Niki de Saint Phalle was best known for her world-famous Nana Sculptures and “shooting paintings,” and carrying a deep fascination with Antoni Gaudi’s Guell Park masterpiece in Barcelona. Marioni’s mentor since the 1950s, friend and confidante, passed Gaudi’s legacy on to her mentee. Interestingly, though, the mosaic — the only feature of Gaudi’s sculptures not adopted by Saint Phalle herself — lies at the center of Marioni’s art. The ancient mosaic technique, steeped in history and tradition, is evocatively reinvented by the Swiss artist in a captivating, original manner, testifying to the artist’s rigorous academic training, which has been continously enriched with multidisciplinary, experimental creative processes.
